You First Advocacy

You First Advocacy can help to make your voice stronger and for you to have as much control as possible over your own life. We do not make decisions on your behalf and we don’t put words in your mouth. Instead we can help you get the information you need to make real choices and give you help to get your choices across.

We are here to help you decide what you want to say and then help you to say it.

Many people find that when they feel ill they are not as good at saying what they want as at other times. When you are ill others might make important decisions about what will happen to you. We can make sure your views are heard when decisions are made.

Whether it is a matter of housing, training, money or health care, an Advocacy Worker will track down information for you and support you in your chosen course of action.
