The Information
and education worker based at Causeway has responsibility
for the following key areas of work:
Schools liaison. Providing mental health awareness
and stress management talks to 4/5/6 year pupils.
Information provision. Providing information to
staff and clients about mental health issues, current
legislation, new initiatives, resources, organisations
etc.
Linking with East Renfrewshire Mental Health Forum.
The worker attends monthly meetings with this forum
and provides updates for them on RAMH's work and
other relevant mental health projects.
Outreach. The worker is part of an outreach group
of 4 information services based in East Renfrewshire
and takes part in regular meetings with this group.
Resource management. The worker is responsible
for maintaining an up to date stock of leaflets
and information for the resource library based at
Causeway.

individuals and their families in their local community,
to enable recovery from mental ill health and promote
well-being.
