Information & Education Worker - Causeway

The Information and education worker based at Causeway has responsibility for the following key areas of work:

  • Schools liaison. Providing mental health awareness and stress management talks to 4/5/6 year pupils.

  • Information provision. Providing information to staff and clients about mental health issues, current legislation, new initiatives, resources, organisations etc.

  • Linking with East Renfrewshire Mental Health Forum. The worker attends monthly meetings with this forum and provides updates for them on RAMH's work and other relevant mental health projects.

  • Outreach. The worker is part of an outreach group of 4 information services based in East Renfrewshire and takes part in regular meetings with this group.

  • Resource management. The worker is responsible for maintaining an up to date stock of leaflets and information for the resource library based at Causeway.
